Are my photos uploaded to a server?
No. Converting, compressing, watermarking, vectorizing and background removal run right in your browser and the photos stay on your computer. Background removal downloads an AI model on first use, which then runs on your device.
Which image formats are supported?
The image converter reads PNG, JPG, WebP, AVIF, GIF, BMP, TIFF and iPhone HEIC, up to 30 files of 50 MB at once. It saves WebP, JPG and PNG, and other formats in browsers that support them. The photo compressor handles up to 50 files of 100 MB.
How do I shrink a photo for e-mail or the web?
In the Photo compressor pick a purpose: E-mail saves a JPG up to 300 kB, Web a WebP at most 1,920 px wide. Phone photos are around 4,000 px wide, so the biggest saving comes from resizing. Before downloading you see a before and after comparison and the new size.
Does background removal save a transparent PNG?
Yes. You save the result as a PNG with a transparent background, or with a colored one, e.g. white for an e-shop. Several photos download in one click as a ZIP.
Are the tools free, do I need an account?
All of them are free, with no registration and no watermark. I do not collect e-mails, just open a tool and drop in a photo.
